An Advent Devotional

At Christmas, we stand between the two Advents of Christ. We marvel in gratitude and awe at the humility of His manger and meditate with hope and longing for the certainty of His return.   I am inviting you on a journey to prepare the way for the King together.  

To help us on our journey, I have provided a devotional for each day of the Advent season with the following elements:

The devotionals for the four Sundays of Advent as well as for Christmas Day also include Advent Activities for the week appropriate for families with older and younger kids, as well as a Closing Carol to sing. 

As you celebrate the season of Advent, remember that no matter how many items are still on your to-do list or how you sound as you sing the Christmas carols, what matters is the One who came. For the road to Bethlehem was the road to Calvary, and the same road reminds us Christ will come again. So prepare the way during this Advent Season—prepare the way for the coming of your King.
